Oregon Mountain Natural Area is located just outside Las Cruces, NM. It is one of the newest National Monuments in the country. The area is beautifully landscaped with pristine peaks and interesting rock formations. We arrived at the Dripping Springs visitor center just before a shower arrived to cool things down a bit. We had a nice visit although short taking in the desert mountain scenery.
