Floirda State Parks, Florida Caverns State Park

The following series of Posts chronicle in images and descriptions our trip to New Mexico and Colorado.

Our first stop of is Florida Caverns State Park located north of Interstate 10 near Marianna, FL.  We found Florida Caverns State Park to be quite beautiful with a nice campground with full hook ups and clean restrooms. The big surprise was the impressive cave tour that lasted 45 minutes. The formations in the cave were fantastic combined in a natural setting made for quite a tour. The Blue Hole near the campground was a cool dipping spot to cool off from the summer heat. This state park is a Florida treasure well worth visiting as it is just off I-10 as you travel west out of the state.
